Ways to Reduce Natural Global Warming
Although I do not believe that global warming has been caused solely by humans, I do believe that there are ways to reduce natural global warming which in turn can make people healthier and save money as a result.
Recycling and Reusing
Recycling is probably one of the most well known and popular ways to reduce natural global warming. It’s also one of the easiest ways, and frankly, in most places it’s actually a requirement now. For instance, my city requires every resident to recycle items like cardboard, cans, bottles, and things of that nature. Recycling and reusing what materials you can are both extremely beneficial actions to the environment, and it can actually both save and make you money – such as by taking cans and bottles back yourself.
Protect Your Home
Whether you believe that global warming is caused more by CO2 or water vapor, there are still ways you can reduce it in your home. For one thing, you can choose energy efficient light bulbs, which last longer and save money as well. You can also insulate your hot water heater, take care with how you heat and cool your home, and make sure all your air filters are clean. You can take steps to use less hot water, as well, and save energy by drying clothes or dishes more naturally.
Plant Trees and Plants
This might seem corny, but think about it for a minute. Pundits who support the belief that humans cause global warming maintain that one of the reasons is because there is so much deforestation going on – and then they go and clear cut some more trees. I don’t know about you, but I’m certainly not responsible for that; no one asked my permission or sought my opinion. Still, you can combat that by planting trees in your yard, nurturing more plants, starting a garden, or anything like that.
Drive Smart
It’s not logical for everyone to buy a smart car or an electric car or a hybrid; they cost a lot of money, and really depend on whether or not you believe the CO2 caused by humans is the main cause of global warming. Still, you can plan your day better so that you’re on the road less. For example, you can try to shop at just one store, or walk from shop to shop rather than driving. If you can walk somewhere or ride a bike, you can do that instead of choosing to drive – which is also a healthier option for you.
There are lots of ways to reduce natural global warming; these are just a few of them. You absolutely don’t have to conform to all the “remedies” touted by activists who believe that humans and only humans are responsible for global warming. A lot of those choices aren’t practical for regular people like you and me. However, as mentioned, there are lots of little things you can do that can still help the environment, things that won’t cost you money and actually have been proven to help.
