Climate Change is a Product of Special Interest Companies

For years, people have been saying that climate change is a product of special interest companies and groups.  Typically what people mean when they say this, is that certain special interest companies exaggerate issues relating to climate change and global warming.  They claim that it is entirely man made, that the human race as a whole makes the temperatures heat up, causes global warming, and is singularly responsible for the hole in the ozone layer.  I find this to be a ridiculous charge, however, and believe it is time to discuss just where these companies and groups have exaggerated the subject.

The Real Cause of Climate Change

When you do even the minimum amount of research, you can easily find a lot of information about climate change – and it’s not the information the government and special interest groups prefer telling everyone.  I found quantitative proof, for example, that the climate and temperatures have gone through cycles throughout history.  There are periods of time when the temperatures were hotter, followed by cooling down periods; this happens every few centuries or more, and has throughout history.  CO2 emissions fluctuate as well, and there’s really no conclusive proof that it affects the climate in a major way.

The Purpose of the Conspiracy

Some people even believe that the subject of climate change and global warming represents a conspiracy perpetuated by certain groups, including big businesses and the government.  The question is, why would anyone bother manipulating the truth about these things?  Power is the simple answer, and probably the most accurate; succinctly it has to do with the governments all throughout the world wanting to gain power back from big business.  Protecting the environment isn’t exactly a bad thing, but many special interest companies go about it in a way that is detrimental to regular people.

The Real Cost of Climate Change

A lot of advances have come about in an attempt to stop global warming and the climate change, especially in terms of technology – and they are not all good.  Outwardly, for example, electric cars, hybrid cars, and so on, are really great advances.  The problem is that most regular people just can’t afford these more expensive vehicles, but are forced to try by certain special interest groups and even because of peer pressure.  The thought is, if I’m driving a smart car and doing everything I can to save the environment, then everybody else has to as well.  Not only is that a selfish rather than altruistic thought, but it misses the point entirely.

A lot of the special interest groups and companies producing the whole climate change “tragedy” would surprise you.  Many believe, for instance, that the United Nations is a big player behind the manipulation tactics.  The future they want to build is eerily Orwellian in design, and it won’t be the people like you and me who benefit from it.  The governments will benefit from it, and the manufacturers of all those appliances and vehicles and machines that are designed to “save the environment.”  It’s entirely possible that the environment won’t benefit from it either, but may in fact flourish more through simple, free methods, like recycling.
